For the first time in the Marine Master line, DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating is used, which not only gives the watch a completely black appearance but also increases the scratch resistance of the case 20 times. The new Dianoir® coating has a hardness of 4500 HV on the Vickers scale, which surpasses the hardness of any hardened steel and even tungsten carbide. The only materials capable of scratching the surface are diamond and sapphire glass.

The watch has impressive dimensions: case diameter - 44 mm, lug-to-lug distance - 48 mm, thickness - 14 mm. Such a large construction is due to the model's ability to withstand pressure at a depth of up to 500 meters. Despite the noticeable size, the watch remains comfortable thanks to the FKM rubber Horizon strap with a classic pin buckle.

Dial Design and Model Differences

The strap continues the textured motif of the dial - a mesh pattern of hollow squares which emphasizes the robust and rugged nature of the watch, giving the dial not only relief but also structure.

Differences Between the Two Marine Master M44 Versions Are Noticeable on the Dial:

• Black Resin features beige hands and hour markers, with X1 Super-LumiNova luminous coating matched in tone, creating a vintage look with muted shades.
• Gravity Black offers a more contrasting design with polished steel markers and hands, and white lume glow highlighting a modern and clean style.

Movement and Technical Specifications

Inside the watch is the automatic caliber Werk 11 by Kenissi, known for its high quality and reliability. A recent visit to the Kenissi factory confirms that every movement undergoes strict control, ensuring stable operation and durability.

The caliber has a power reserve of 70 hours. Fortis used an enlarged bridge with a double anchoring point, which increases the stability of the movement under shock. The movement is COSC certified and equipped with a date function, the color of which is harmoniously matched to the overall dial design.
