Here, skeletonization serves not only aesthetics but also an important goal - reducing the weight of the Wild ONE X-Lite model. Visually, it is hard to imagine how light these watches are: weighing only 45 grams, they are half the weight of many Casio G-Shock models, which are already considered light and simultaneously durable.
The comparison with G-Shock is no accident. Although Wild ONE is not a direct competitor, I have repeatedly referred to this model as "NORQAIN's G-Shock." This is because the entire NORQAIN Wild ONE collection was created with a focus on shock resistance. The brand broke stereotypes about the traditional look of Swiss luxury sports watches by using a case made of rubber and carbon composite, which they call "NORTEQ."
Case Materials and Technical Specifications
The inner case protecting the movement is made of titanium with DLC coating. In the new ultra-light version, an innovative material "X-Lite" - a patented carbon composite used for the "case ring," contributes to additional weight reduction.
